Avon’s Fall Festival ~ Taste of Avon ~ Farmer’s Market
September 11 & 12, 2010 ~ Avon’s French Creek District
AVON, OHIO – For over two decades residents of Avon and northern Ohio have celebrated the start of the Fall Season with its annual “Fall Festival” (aka “Country Living Festival”). Antique Dealers from the region descend on Avon to display and sell their treasures. Local merchants feature fall décor for the home and seasonal fashions for men, women and children. Attendees are able to take advantage of fabulous deals at sidewalk sales and in-store specials. Avon restaurants offer gourmet specials, guaranteed to tempt any palate.
....An exciting addition to the festival will be a “Kid’s Pavilion”, hosted by The Littlest Details and Little Gym. Planned activities for children will include: Tumbling & Karate exhibits by Little Gym, balloon artist, face painting, children’s craft project by Goddard School, Bounce House by Party Perfect, coloring & sidewalk chalk contest and a performance by the local youth band, “Twin Engine”. A unique keepsake opportunity for Moms, Grandmas and their little ones has been created with the Vintage House Café Tea Party photo opportunity. Professional images will be available for purchase at a nominal fee from Becky Workman Photography.

Journey of Hope (JOH) is an organization funding adult cancer patients who are desperate for financial assistance to fund basic survival needs while going through cancer treatments. Journey of Hope was founded in 1999, received non-profit status in 2001 and began funding patients in 2002. The funding continues today.
Our statistics speak for themselves. Through our efforts each year, we continue to fund more and more patients. However, as our level of funding increases, so does the need!
